Borys Kit

Senior Film Writer

Senior Film Writer Borys Kit breaks the latest scoops on movies, from acquisitions to castings to the dreaded and they-wish-he-wouldn’t-write-about reshoots (ahem, “additional photography”). He tackles big picture stories by going inside the dealmaking and goings on studio lots, gets nitty-gritty about out-of-control productions, and takes out the scalpel for post-mortems on movies when they underperform at the box office. His specialty is writing about the geek and comic book worlds, a path set for him when he ran away from home at the age of six when his parents wouldn’t let him watch a Spider-Man movie. (Don’t worry, he came back later when it started getting dark.) And he is the creator of THR’s award-winning blog, Heat Vision.
